Ouch. Not overly impressive...

btw, after some experimenting I just found out that the card survives suspend a bit better after disabling my anti-virus installation. Seems like the card's emulated CD-ROM gets locked in the suspend/wake/scan process.

Really, the drivers must pull some amazing stunts during wakeup. If you have the device browser up, you can see at least four refreshes on two USB hubs, one being a CD drive appearing and disappearing.

No, does not survive. Better is to just reboot the whole machine after that... Option does not create very stable drivers for these cards.

Latest I have found is that if you are on a very weak signal, card just looses it totally and starts installing drivers again!

I've experienced the same issues with Vista x64 and the T-Mobile wnw Card compact II (this is the GlobeTrotter GT MAX "7.2 Ready") luckely I'm just testing it, but it's a pain. I'll try to exchange this for a GX301 version and see if that will work.
