As per customer requests, we are proceeding with the OffRoad integration to Rational Quality Manager. Plan is to offer same support for offline execution mode as we now have for HP Quality Center.

This integration is not fully done yet, but this can be tried out and seen how it really works. Setup can be found in here http://onroad.juvander.fi/Community/files/folders/beta/default.aspx.

When trying this out, please contact us first for information on how to enable this integration. By default it is still using HP Quality Center connector, but by configuration change it can be switched to use Rational Quality Manager connector instead.

We have used during development Rational Quality Manager version 2.0.1.

All efforts are made towards to get OffRoad and Rational Quality Manager validated through Ready for IBM Rational software validation process.

As TFS2010 version is now officially out we also added support for this into TFS Bug Item Synchronizer.

This does not include any other new functionality, only that TFS2010 Explorer is natively supported by it so no need to use TFS2008 SP1 explorer anymore when accessing it.

This adds an simple feature to export test cases with design steps into Excel format.

Tool works like this:

First Connect to Quality Center

Select server, username, domain, project and click Ok

Select test cases from test plan tree that you want to have in Excel format and click 'Export to Excel'.

Select file name for exported data

Select fields to be exported and order for them and click Ok

And there you are

And the end result is Excel file which also includes formatting used in Quality Center
