I need some advice on how I can more pro-actively monitor log files to detect when failures occur with the synchronisation.

It is not practical for me to check my log files manually given the number of defects that are being raised on my system and the number of updates that are taking place, manual checking is just going to be too time consuming.

Are there any ways in which I could have a setup that would automatically notify me of synchronisation failures?

The reason I need to be more pro-active with the way I monitor the synchronisation, is because I cannot expect my user community to be having to report where synchronisation issues occur and in fact having said that synchronisation issues wouldn't always be evident to the users as some users will only have view of QC and some TFS, so they will not see when synchronisation problems have occured.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Jeremy.
